Biography

Leo Bachmann is a freelance tubist and composer of adventurous music with the KONTRA-Trio, IGORS, Nadelöhr. He studied at the ‘Akademie für Schul- und Kirchenmusik’ (Acadamy for School and Church Music, Lucerne), at the Lucerne Conservatory and with Bob Stewart (tuba) in New York.
He produces compositions and improvisation concepts for various scores. He is also the composer and interpreter of ‘Palette of Sounds’ for tuba solo (CD: Unitrecords UTR 4131). He produces music for stage, film and audio collages.
