Rudolf Lutz is a teacher for historical improvisation at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and a teacher of thorough bass, score playing and oratorio at the Zurich School of Music. He has conducted the St Gallen Bach Choir and St Gallen Chamber Ensemble for years. He performs as an improvising musician at home and abroad and is often asked to head courses teaching improvisation in classical forms.
