Organist and composer living in Basel, Switzerland. Studies with Guy Bovet at the Basel Music-Academy. Prizes at the Swiss Organ Competition and at the renowned Geneva Competition (Concours de Genève) From 1994-2005 titular organist at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Geneva Is regularly performing at Festivals and concerts throughout Europe: La Chaise-Dieu, Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, Dom zu Freiberg, Berliner Dom, Reger-Festival Tallinn, Toulouse les Orgues , Dresden Cathedral, international organ summer Naumburg, Magadino-festival, etc. Loves especially the music of the early 17th century, but also everything else which has beauty and inspiration to offer. Also active in the domain of world music – with Taragot Player Samuel Freiburghaus he plays music from the Balkans, of Gypsies and Klezmorim. These manifold influences reflect themselves in his own music with which he reaches an equally diverse public. Specialities: Musick for keyboard of the early 17th century, especially english music. French music from the 17th to the 20th century. Also works as an independent organ expert for restaurations and overhauls. Artistic co-director of Orgelfestival im Stadtcasino Basel
