Biography
* 04. 08. 1961.

Anna de Capitani is a piano accompanist at Berne School of Arts, from 1985 until 1991 with prof. Max Rostal and from1986 until 2002 with prof. Igor Ozim.
She has worked together with Monika Urbaniak Lisik (violin) since 1997, and Guy Michel (tuba) and Thomas Rüedi (euphonium) since 2003.
Capitani was instructed by Suzanne Eggli to undergraduate level and then by Kristina Steinegger in Berne.
She received important impulses from Tibor Hazay, Irwin Gage und Jörg Ewald Dähler.
Capitani is vastly familiar with the violin repertoire due to her long-term collaboration with Igor Ozim. She has, however, also accompanied almost all of the orchestral instruments and is credited for being a flexible yet headstrong accompanist.
The violin and piano works by Beethoven, Prokofiev and Szymanowski are of particular interest to Anna de Capitani.
